My Piece of the Puzzle

Norma Springsteen is a lover of The Wild, energy medicine, alternative healing practices, quantum science, and helping others with all of these tools.

I am an Empath. This I know. I have begun to explore what it means to be an Empath, how it works, how to nurture the abilities it encompasses as superpowers. Yet most of the time I still don’t feel it is an authentic truth for me, especially when I compare my experience to those of the people teaching on the topic. I have not seen myself in any of the stories I’ve heard so far about how it felt to grow up as an Empath. Although I know in my Heart that I am indeed an Empath, I have felt a lot of doubt about it.

Recently I was given the reason for this. I share it now because I was told very clearly there are others who need this message. The truth is that the entirety of Humanity is still very new to the truth of what it means to be an Empath. It has not yet been integrated into the collective consciousness. This means there are still stories about it to be told by people just like me who do not resonate with the experiences they’ve read about. There are many perspectives, experiences, and lessons that have yet to be shared. The information available now about Empaths is not complete and it’s up to those like me to add our stories to the growing compendium of information.

Many teachers and healers today are expressing variations on the idea that every single human on the planet is needed and the time to share our gifts is now. Part of the reason this is true is we each have utterly unique perspectives and gifts that no one else can share with the world. We are all pieces of the puzzle that is the continuous evolution of our world.

When we discover a truth about ourselves that is either not being expressed in the world or we don’t resonate with the information about the topic, chances are excellent we have unearthed something someone else needs to know.

But society likes us to believe the information we receive from a teacher or authority figure is the only truth. This leads many of us to assume we must be wrong and ignore our personal truth because our experience doesn’t align with the teacher’s lesson.

Too many of us don’t tell our stories and it’s time for that to be remedied. It’s time for more perspectives to be expressed. I am especially interested in the stories offering varying perspectives and information about that which already exists and how they will change the world.
